The vision: The ideal cigar. A refined, classical cigar, deliberately counter to the overly thick, overly bold and spicy cigars dominating the market. The Darling House No. 1 will be a return to flavorful elegance: a Lonsdale format, Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, creamy and smooth with a subtle Nicaraguan backbone.
This will not be a cigar built to knock out the smoker with overpowering strength. It will be built to be savored, with notes of cream, almond, cedar, and a whisper of cocoa. It will have a Mild-medium body, and be refined from the first draw to the last. The kind of cigar you reach for in the morning or in the evening. In short, the perfect cigar.
The Darling House believes in embracing the timeless over the trendy. The No. 1 will be the physical expression of that idea — a cigar that values restraint, quality, and character over size and spectacle.
The No. 1 is currently in development with some of the most respected manufacturers in the world. When it launches, it will anchor a community, a culture, and eventually a place where it all comes together.
